Vivid Community Care Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, servitude and all forms of exploitation within our organisation and throughout our supply chain.

We recognise that people receiving care, our employees, agency workers, and those working within our supply chain have the right to be treated with dignity, respect and fairness.

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and expect the same high standards from every contractor, supplier and business partner.

Vivid Community Care Ltd provides high-quality domiciliary care, complex care and supported living services across the United Kingdom. Our purpose is to enable people to live safely, independently and with dignity while delivering services that meet the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Recruitment and Employment

We operate robust recruitment procedures to ensure all employees:

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Are recruited voluntarily.
  • Receive written contracts of employment.
  • Are paid at least the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage.
  • Are free to leave employment in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Are never required to pay recruitment fees to Vivid Community Care.

Identity, right-to-work documentation and employment records are verified before employment commences.

Supply Chain

We work only with reputable suppliers and seek assurance that they operate ethically and comply with UK employment legislation.

Where appropriate, we undertake supplier due diligence, requesting evidence of policies and compliance relating to:

  • Modern Slavery
  • Employment Practices
  • Workforce Welfare
  • Equality and Safeguarding

Training

Managers and employees receive safeguarding and compliance training which includes recognising indicators of exploitation, modern slavery and human trafficking.

Staff are encouraged to report any concerns immediately through safeguarding procedures or the Whistleblowing Policy.

Reporting Concerns

Any concerns relating to exploitation or modern slavery are investigated promptly. Where appropriate, concerns are reported to the Local Authority Safeguarding Team, the police or other relevant statutory agencies.

Employees can report concerns confidentially without fear of retaliation.

Continuous Improvement

During the coming year Vivid Community Care will continue to:

  • Review supplier due diligence processes.
  • Strengthen workforce compliance monitoring.
  • Deliver refresher training for all staff.
  • Monitor recruitment practices.
  • Enhance governance through continuous quality assurance and digital compliance systems.

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Vivid Community Care Ltd in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
